Well, well, well... So Obama outspends Hillary 4 to 1 in Pennsylvania, and what does he get? A BIG FUCKING LOSS. And I'm loving it. Has the Kool-Aid finally lost its potency?

It looks like Pennsylvanians went out and voted with their conscience, instead of relying on the Obama Kool-Aid/bandwagon/hope and change rhetoric/media bias. That's wonderful, but it begs the question: WHAT TOOK SO FUCKING LONG?! If Obama's Kool-Aid swigging cult members had been capable of looking at him for what he actually is, i.e., a despicable, hate-filled, racist man who also happens to be wholly unqualified for the office of president, Clinton would have won the nomination months ago. If Obama's cult members had taken a good hard look at the scum he has surrounded himself with--over many, many years--perhaps the lightbulb would have gone off a lot sooner. If the media, instead of deifying Obama, had treated him the same as they were treating Clinton, his followers would have had no choice but to see the light long ago.

The man is hollow. There's nothing there. Anyone who has actually LISTENED to him during the debates--even the first 20+ debates in which he was given a free ride, let alone the most recent one where he was actually asked a few "tough" questions--would have no choice but to see that he's clueless.

So how do we explain the unprecedented, unwarranted adulation Obama has received during this campaign? I don't know! Mass spiking of Kool-Aid with something that turns seemingly normal people's brains into misfiring blobs of gray cells?

I feel just like I did in 1972

In 1972, I was too young to vote but I volunteered to work for the McGovern campaign, as I couldn't imagine another Nixon term. I was stunned at the support Nixon had all across the country...absolutely baffled at how so many people could be SO WRONG and SO BLIND. I remember watching in horror as the election results came in and Nixon won a second term by a landslide. It wasn't until August of 1974 when Nixon was forced to resign, as his crooked VP Spiro Agnew already had, that I felt vindicated.

Today I find the same feelings of disbelief as people jump on the Obama bandwagon. I'm stunned that so many people can be so stupid, blind, shortsighted, and fooled by rhetoric [that isn't even his own!]. My only hope now is that some miracle happens and Clinton pulls out the nomination...but if that doesn't occur, I'm voting for McCain.

Let's add plagiarism to Obama's [long?] list of accomplishments

Today's charges of plagiarism against Obama didn't come as any surprise to most Hillary Clinton followers, as we've recognized for a long time OUR candidate's words and plans slightly changed around and claimed as Obama's own. So when the Clinton camp accused Obama of plagiarizing lines from a speech given last year by Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick--and posting videos to prove it--we weren't surprised at all. Of course, the Obama-ites (otherwise known as Obama cult members) who are blindly following this unqualified man because...because...well, we don't know why they're following him, but at any rate they're trying to deny the charges, even though there's ample proof and Obama himself can't deny them.

While the poor Obama-ites--who are unable to see through their rose-colored glasses--may not see plagiarism as a problem, we do! People who are blindly supporting this unqualified man because of his "mesmerizing" speeches need to realize that his ideas are not his own...and neither are his words.

Would you vote for a woman as unqualified as Barack Obama?

Here's the question we're asking on our latest anti-Obama merchandise line: "Would you vote for a woman as unqualified as Barack Obama?" Stop and think about that for a moment, okay?

It's clear that Obama has no qualifications [to speak of] that should convince people to support him for the presidency. Yet--as I've written about numerous times!--the Obama cult mentality that has swept the nation doesn't seem to care that he has no qualifications they can point to. So, as I've said before, if a woman dared have the audacity to run with the same [lack of] qualifications Obama has, she'd be laughed out of the race. No one would be jumping on her bandwagon, no one would be talking about the abstract 'change' she would supposedly bring about, the media would not be having an endless love affair with all things related to her...none of that would be happening. People would criticize and chastise her for having such an overblown opinion of herself that she actually thought she could run for president.

So what's wrong with this picture? Obama, being male, is getting away with one of the most insane things I've ever seen, running on Hillary Clinton's platform, with just the slightest change of wording here and there to make it "his" platform...and people are buying it! If they like what they're hearing from Obama, they ought to be supporting Clinton, since she's the one who thought of all that stuff. Instead, they're deluding themselves into believing that this one term senator will somehow magically bring about 'change' that'll make everything all better...

I may be voting Republican this year!

Yeah, well, I've done it before and fully expected to do it again at some point: I may vote Republican this November. The more I hear and see of Obama and the ridiculous, unjustified worship he's receiving, the more I can't stand him. I've long admired John McCain because--unlike the cowardly deserter CURRENTLY in the White House--he's a real veteran...not just a veteran, but a true war hero. I know that he's a decent man, and he has plenty of experience in politics. If it comes down to choosing between ODrama and McCain, I do believe I'll be casting my vote for McCain.

Of course, I'm less than thrilled with McCain's recent "100 years" remark about Iraq, and I will have to weigh that and some of his other beliefs before really deciding whether to vote for him. But right now, I simply can't stomach the idea of voting for Obama...

MSNBC: Sinking to new lows

I was pleased to see an article this morning describing how Hillary Clinton is fighting back against MSNBC for their despicable remarks and unprofessional treatment of her, her family, and her campaign. In a nutshell, the latest incident involved an on-air personality saying that Chelsea Clinton has "been pimped out" [referring to her campaigning for her mother]. The double standard that's been in force on MSNBC for months now has hit a new low--if the same remark had been made about Barack Obama's family, punishment would have been swift and severe. But, due to their anti-Clinton, pro-Obama bias, the best they can manage is a few on-air apologies. Well, that's not good enough for me! So I used their letters@msnbc.com address to send the following:

"Just wanted to say that you've reached a new low with your on-air staff making derogatory remark, after derogatory remark, about the Clintons. The latest incident, David Shuster saying that Chelsea Clinton is "being pimped out" would have resulted in OUTRAGE, IMMEDIATE TERMINATION, and PROFUSE on-air apologies if his remark had been directed at Michelle Obama, a black woman. But it's okay to call Hillary Clinton a pimp? I'm appalled.

It's been clear for several months that MSNBC has a very big, very obvious bias in Obama's favor, but I kept hoping professionalism--and unbiased reporting--would prevail. I see I was wrong. As a result I am boycotting MSNBC and GE, and I'm passing the word along to all I know. I'm also spreading the word via my web site and my blog.

Shame..."

Clinton may spurn debate over remark
An MSNBC reporter apologizes and is suspended after saying Chelsea was being 'pimped out.'

WASHINGTON — Angered by an MSNBC correspondent's demeaning comment about Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's daughter, aides to her presidential campaign said Friday that she might pull out of a debate planned by the cable network this month in Cleveland.

Howard Wolfson, Clinton's communications director, cast as "beneath contempt" an on-air comment Thursday by MSNBC's David Shuster, who said Chelsea Clinton is "sort of being pimped out" as she intensifies her campaigning for her mother.

NBC News announced Friday afternoon that Shuster had been suspended indefinitely over the remark, which a release called "irresponsible and inappropriate."

Shuster apologized Friday morning on MSNBC for the term he applied to Chelsea. He issued a second apology on the MSNBC show "Tucker," where he had uttered his comment while acting as guest host.

Hillary Clinton's campaign staff has been critical of what it considers a hostile attitude toward her in MSNBC's coverage, and the Shuster incident brought matters to a head.

Clinton is seeking more debates with Sen. Barack Obama as their race for the Democratic nomination has tightened, and as part of that strategy she agreed to take part in an MSNBC forum Feb. 26.

"We've done a number of debates on that network," Wolfson said. "And at this point I can't envision a scenario where we would continue to engage in debates on that network, given the comments that were made and have been made."

NBC News, in its statement, said it was working to keep the debate alive.

"Our conversations with the Clinton campaign about their participation continue today, and we are hopeful that the event will take place as planned," the statement said.

Last month, another MSNBC talk show host, Chris Matthews, apologized after suggesting Clinton owed her political success to her husband's philandering. "The reason she may be a front-runner [in the presidential race] is her husband messed around," Matthews said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

Wolfson on Friday referenced that controversy, saying, "At some point you really have to question whether or not there's a pattern here at this particular network, where you have comments being made and apologies given," he said. "Is this something that folks are encouraged to do or not do? I don't know, but the [Shuster] comment was beneath contempt, and I think any fair-minded person would see it that way."

On the "Tucker" show, Shuster said: "I apologize to the Clinton family, the Clinton campaign and all of you who were justifiably offended. As I said this morning on MSNBC, all Americans should be proud of Chelsea Clinton. And I am particularly sorry that my language diminished the regard and respect she has earned from all of us and the respect her parents have earned in how they raised her."

NBC News, in its statement, said it "takes these matters seriously, and offers our sincere regrets to the Clintons for the remarks."

Turning down a debate with the nomination in doubt would be a big step for Clinton, who feels such forums work in her favor, providing a chance to demonstrate her grasp of policy and to spotlight her experience. She has accepted offers to take part in four debates over the next month; Obama has agreed to take part in two, including the one in Cleveland.

Calling all feminists! Hillary Clinton needs your support

Did you grow up during the feminist movement of the '60s and '70s? I did, and although I was too young for most of it to actually get involved, I remember the point of it very well, and I believe I've benefited from it throughout my career. When I started in computing in the mid-'80s, it was definitely a male-dominated field (still is today!, but not as much). I never let that concern me, as I knew that I was just as capable as any man of being a great programmer and system administrator, and I plunged in and made my mark. My first job was at a furniture store chain, and it was up to me to transition them off their IBM System/3 mainframe and onto a multi-location, multiuser UNIX system. Talk about a challenge! But I loved every second of it. To this day I don't think I would have been given the opportunity had it not been for my older "sisters" who worked hard to break down glass ceilings and make the idea of women holding powerful jobs, especially in areas that were historically male-dominated, seem mainstream.

Today, I'm reminded of the passion of the feminist movement by the presence of a woman--a strong, intelligent, capable woman--as a viable candidate for president of the United States. I always hoped I'd see a female president in my lifetime and now, with Hillary Clinton running for the office, I'm excited beyond description.

Before going any further let me make something very clear: I would absolutely NOT support a woman for president just because she's a woman. The reason I'm so passionate about Hillary Clinton becoming president is because she's a woman AND she's the best qualified candidate. A mediocre female candidate would never win my support over a better qualified male. Period. So when I say I support Hillary's bid for president it needs to be understood that, first and foremost, she's QUALIFIED for the position; the fact that she's a woman is just icing on the cake.

I'd like to put out a call to all feminists--male and female--to support Clinton's run for president. Those of you who are too young to even grasp what it was like when women were relegated to lower-paying, lower-prestige jobs just because they were women, really need to have a little history lesson! You should read up on what it was like when women were nurses--not doctors, secretaries--not executives, legal secretaries--not attorneys, data entry clerks--not programmers or system analysts, etc. If you're currently in school studying to be, or you already are, a physician or a lawyer, an engineer or a chemist, a rocket scientist or an astronaut, please stop and think about HOW you got there. Trust me, things weren't always like they are now! In fact, women weren't even expected to work. No, really. College educated women were expected to give up working once they were married, and stay home cooking, cleaning, changing diapers, etc., while her husband earned the money--and made all the financial decisions, and had all the power. You're LUCKY to be living now, when you're free to make your own choices--if you [or your husband] WANT to stay home and cook/clean/change diapers, you [or he] can!, but if you want to continue pursuing your career, you can do that, too.

We didn't start out being anti-Obama, but have basically become so as he's gotten endless hype, adulation, endorsements, and media coverage--undeservedly so, in our opinion. Forget about the supposed history-making that electing a black (actually, HALF black) man would create. He's still male! If you're truly interested in making HERstory...er,history, support Hillary Clinton. She's more qualified, better prepared, and has vastly more experience than Barack Obama, and that's why we think you should support her. But it cannot be denied that putting a woman into the White House will be a profound step for American women which may, finally, put us on equal footing with men in the workplace.

One last thing: Please contribute to Hillary's campaign! And encourage others to do the same.

I'm still pissed off at the LA Times for endorsing Obama instead of Clinton, and today I stumbled upon a link on their Politics A-Z page that asks for feedback on political issues. This is the direct link for the feedback form. I encourage anyone who's unhappy with their endorsement of O Drama instead of Clinton to write and tell them so!

A letter to the LA Times

I've received permission from its author to post the following letter she wrote to the LA Times after they endorsed Obama. I thought it was excellent and wanted to share it with others. I hope anyone reading it who, like me and the letter's author, are shocked at the LA Times' endorsement of Obama will take the time to send their own letter to the Times expressing your feelings. Here it is (and I've edited out the author's last name):

"To LA Times:

I take issue with the fact that the LA TIMES endorsed Senator Barack Obama for President.

Obama has a total of two years experience in the Senate and has proven time and again that he is NOT ready to lead on Day One as Senator Clinton is.

Even your own endorsement points out that Obama's not voting for Iraq was the right move. You're kidding right? You realize he was not even in the Senate at the time so therefore he could not have voted one way or the other. You state that he claimed he was always against it, but in 2004, he said he "agreed with George Bush", so really, what you are saying is that HE LIED. Obama has voted the SAME as Hillary each and every time when it comes to Iraq. If he did not want to support the war, then why did he continually vote to fund it?

Obama claims he was against the war - BUT - it's always easier to claim you were against something that is NOW unpopular when in fact you did not have to make the decision.

Obama's true weakness is his lack of experience and substance on the issues.

His words are not actions, they are only good speeches. Obama claims to be supportive of Gay and Lesbian rights. Yet, he traveled around South Carolina with Donnie McClurkin, the anti-gay gospel singer, pro-claiming that he was a Christian. How does this fit in keeping current with GLBT issues? Does anyone really believe Obama will fight for gay rights?

I take issue with the fact that your newspaper believes that Obama has the corner on "Change." Electing the first woman President, who stands up fully for Democratic values is a HUGE change.

If Obama wants to CHANGE Washington, then why does he side with the biggest Washington Insider of them all, Ted Kennedy, and 50 or so Ex-Clinton aides - is that really "Change"

Your endorsement is a direct slap in the face to all women who are more than qualified to step into a position on day one, yet are overlooked by the younger, less experienced candidate.

Most appalling is the Times lack of research on the background of this candidate and stance on OTHER issues, instead of a singular issue. His own newspaper, the Chicago Tribune points out the ramifications of a potential Obama Presidency in their remarks:

"Obama's association with alleged influence-peddler Tony Rezko. If Obama had dealt with the Rezko issue forthrightly long ago, it might rank in public memory with Clinton's remarkable success in cattle futures.

Instead, as we've said, Obama has been too self-exculpatory. His assertion in network TV interviews last week that nobody had indications Rezko was engaging in wrongdoing strains credulity: Tribune stories linked Rezko to questionable fundraising for Gov. Rod Blagojevich in 2004 -- more than a year before the adjacent home and property purchases by the Obamas and the Rezkos.

On e more time, Senator:

You need to divulge all there is to know about that relationship. Until you do, the journalistic scrubbing and opposition research will intensify. You should have recognized Rezko as a political seducer of young talent. But given that you've not been accused of any crime or ethical breach, your Rezko history is not a deal-breaker."

Because the news media has failed in examining this candidates background, it is my firm belief that the Democrats will lose the Whitehouse if Obama is elected. Once Obama's relationship with Tony Rezko comes out into the open, we will all be left wondering why we didn't know this in advance.

Change is a word that requires Action. Hillary Clinton is the Agent of Change that will bring about that Action.

Barack Obama: All hype, no substance

Continuing on with yesterday's theme, we think Barack Obama is all hype but no substance. We really cannot remember any other candidate getting so much positive attention for having done so little politically. We're just stumped on this one. We also don't get why voters are jumping on the Obama bandwagon without really understanding what he has/hasn't accomplished, and why that does/doesn't qualify him to step into the White House next January as president. But they're just blindly leaping onto the bandwagon as if under some kind of spell. Wake up, people! If Obama gets elected he will be in over his head right from the start. Is that really what you want?

Why all the hype about Obama?

Is it just me, or are you also sick of all the hype surrounding Barack Obama? WHAT on earth has he ever done to warrant so much attention?! I'm at a complete loss as to why he's garnering endorsement after endorsement--including from my hometown paper, the LA Times--and being talked about incessantly. He's totally lacking in experience, or at least the kind of experience that will be needed to clean up the mess left after Bush leaves office, yet people are talking about him like he's God's gift to humanity.

Oh, another thing: How come no one ever mentions that he's only HALF black? It's always "he'll be the first AFRICAN AMERICAN president!" Um, no, he won't. Assuming he manages to get elected, he'll still only be HALF BLACK. Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, will still be 100% female...and 100% capable...intelligent...ready...when she takes office!

It's painful for me to find myself siding with Repugnants who are bashing Obama, but in this case I can't help it. I'm surprising myself by coming up with an anti-Democrat design for merchandise on my web site, but just felt it was necessary. As far as I'm concerned, [no] Obama!
