Don't blame me! I voted for Hillary

Don't blame me! I voted for Hillary merchandise at SmartAssProducts.com As disgust with the grossly unqualified, incompetent Obama continues to grow, we're getting more and more hits from people looking for "Don't blame me! I voted for Hillary" merchandise. Although it sucks that we're stuck with Obama--for now--my conscience is clear knowing that I did not support him and that I KNEW Hillary Clinton was the better choice. It's still surprising to me, a lifelong Democrat, that I ended up voting Republican in the Presidential election, but I simply could not, with a clear conscience, vote for Barack Hussein Obama, so my vote went to McCain. Hopefully, the 2012 elections will see a QUALIFIED Democrat on the ticket that I'll feel good voting for. Stay tuned...

Meanwhile, if you're looking for "Don't blame me! I voted for Hillary" merchandise, please stop by our CafePress shop. Here are a few samples; select any image to see all products with this design on them:

Obama. A legend in his own mind.

Obama. A legend in his own mind, anti-Obama merchandise at SmartAssProducts.comNow that the public has spoken, and the GOP made great strides in the November 2010 elections, it should be obvious that Barack Hussein Obama really is the empty suit I kept saying he was prior to November 2008. It's clear now that Obama is nothing but a legend in his own mind--and we have a new line of merchandise that says just that! Funny anti-Obama merchandise

I've come up with a number of--in my opinion!--funny anti-Obama designs for our merchandise. For example, I really like Barack Hussein Obama makes Dan Quayle look like Einstein. But I've just added a new design to our anti-Obama merchandise that strikes me as hilarious: I may not be a gastroenterologist but I know Obama is full of shit. The visual in my head just cracks me up.

Here are a few samples of this design on various products; select any image to go to our shops and see our full line of products:

Wasn't SmartAssProducts.com anti-Bush/anti-Republican?

We've gotten a lot of inquiries regarding our apparent switch from pro- to anti-Democrat, and finally decided to just write a blog entry explaining what happened.

First some background. When SmartAssProducts.com started, its main focus was anti-Bush merchandise, along with some anti-Republican and anti-conservative stuff thrown in for good measure. We were lifelong, die-hard Democrats; we despised Bush II and everything he represented. We had a countdown clock on the site ticking off the seconds until Bush would finally leave office. Then came 2008's Democratic race.

We were OUTRAGED last year at what we saw happening: Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, the DNC, etc., jumping on the bandwagon of an untested, under-qualified phenomenon instead of supporting the truly QUALIFIED, and deserving, Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton. I personally did fundraising for Clinton, attended meetings and rallies and phone banks, contributed to her campaign, etc. When she was pushed out of the race--despite having more popular votes than Obama--I simply could not switch my allegiance to him. NOT because he forced Hillary out of the race--although I was extremely bitter about that!--but because of how unqualified he was, the terrorists and slumlords and racists he's associated with for decades, etc. I couldn't imagine how anyone could sit in a church for TWENTY YEARS listening to venomous hatred against whites and others... So I said, "party loyalty be damned!" and voted for McCain.

We started focusing on coming up with more anti-Obama slogans and designs. That's been VERY easy! And it sells. We now have anti-Obama merchandise on Zazzle and Printfection as we branch out from our original CafePress shop.

In the process of all this, people started jumping to the wrong conclusion, i.e., that we are now anti-Democrat, pro-Republican. Simply not true--in general, anyway. Anti-Obama? You bet! Anti-all Democrats? Nope. Pro-Republican? In general, no. In specific cases? Yes. I'm proud to say that I did the morally and ethically correct thing last year by choosing not to vote for Obama, and voting for McCain instead. At least with McCain we have an honorable person, a war hero, a veteran, a person with a long history of serving this country in various ways. I feel good about voting for him. Now, if Hillary Clinton hadn't been railroaded out of the race, my vote unequivocally, definitely would have gone to her, and voting for McCain wouldn't have even crossed my mind.

If Obama continues proving what an unqualified dolt he is--as he's done thus far in his first year--I fully expect that the Democrats will come to their senses in 2012. I hope to see Clinton run again, although she's indicated that's not very likely. As long as the Democratic nominee in 2012 is qualified for the office of POTUS, and does not have a multi-decade history of associating with racists and terrorists, I'll vote for her/him. But if it's Obama again? I guess I'll be voting Republican again!

In closing, it's simply incorrect to think we've switched from pro-Democrat to pro-Republican. We've only focused on the office of president, not other elected offices like governor or senator, so the only Democrat referred to on our site is Obama--and we're anti-Obama. Likewise, the only Republican referred to on our site is John McCain--to a very limited degree, i.e., our Don't blame me, I voted for Hillary...and McCain and Don't blame me, I voted for McCain merchandise. We're pro-McCain over Obama, and since McCain is the only Republican we address, it comes out looking like we're pro-Republican. The only way I'd ever consider becoming a Republican is if they became pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, pro-sex education, etc. And that's most likely NEVER going to happen.

So, don't worry, we'll be back to our regular political views once Obama leaves office. Until then, anti-Obama all the way!

Who's buying this shit?! Obama vs. Wright...nothing but an act

Here's a rhetorical question: Is anyone actually naive (stupid?) enough to believe that the supposed war of words between Barack Hussein Obama and his LONGTIME friend/pastor/spiritual advisor/mentor, Jeremiah Wright, is legitimate? As much as I'd like to give the masses more credit than that, when it comes to Obamabots...well, let's just say they're not the sharpest knives in the drawer. So, for their benefit, let me explain what's really happening here.

Shop our anti-Obama gear here

After the truth about Obama's longtime pastor/friend/spiritual advisor/"uncle"/mentor, Jeremiah Wright, came to the attention of the general public, Obama made one of his [TelePrompTer-aided] "eloquent" speeches, this time about race. His cult members, er, followers, er, supporters, lapped it up! His "articulate" explanation [full of lies, to anyone with a working brain capable of processing what they're hearing] was all they needed to gloss over Obama's TWENTY YEAR association with the despicable Wright. But wait! It turns out they're not all that stupid/blind/naive!

No indeed. A lot of people, even die-hard Obamabots, actually started asking themselves some tough questions, such as "how does a man have such a close relationship with a pastor (including having him perform their wedding ceremony and baptize their children) for such a long time, and be so close to him that they call him their uncle, yet have no clue about his seething anti-white racism, his anti-America stance, his anti-Semitic beliefs, and so on?" Once the effects of the Kool-Aid started to wear off and they really started asking themselves questions like this, thank goodness a lot of them came to their senses.

So now you have Obama getting blasted for not having left the church at any point during those two decades, for not having severed his ties with Wright after learning of his extreme racism and hatred, and for failing to admit that he was present (even though words in his own book indicate otherwise) during ANY of the plethora of venomous "sermons" given by Wright over the years. Next thing you know, people are starting to bail from the Obama bandwagon! FINALLY, it seems, they're seeing the truth about him, about his character, and--most importantly of all--some of them are actually learning that he has no qualifications to be president. Hillary Clinton starts winning primary after primary, as more and more people see the light. What to do...what to do...

Then, LIKE A MIRACLE!, Obama and Wright have a very public falling out. Obama disowns Wright, Wright insults Obama, Obama denounces Wright, Wright says Obama is just another politician...etc. Then Obama gets to give yet another [TelePrompTer-aided] "eloquent" speech, this time making it very clear that he has severed ties with Wright and that he denounces Wright's teachings/preachings/beliefs. Oh, okay, I get it! Now we can ALL believe that Obama has been exonerated! Poor little Barack...so misunderstood. It wasn't HIM who spewed those venomous anti-American and anti-white sermons, after all, it was his now-disowned former uncle! And see how NASTY that former uncle is? Just imagine, saying such wicked, horrid things about Barack! Of course Obama doesn't want anything to do with him ever again...and it's obviously terrible that he was so fooled, so...bamboozled by Wright for all those years. That's right, Obama is not the one at fault!

BULLSHIT. It's all an act, folks. It's a smokescreen devised by Obama and Wright to make Obama LOOK like the victim here instead of what he truly is, a grown man fully responsible for his own actions. And his actions speak volumes about his character...or, in his case, the lack thereof.

Howard Dean and the DNC, I hope you're listening

As should be pretty clear by now, I cannot stand Oblahma and cannot fathom how so many [clueless] people could have fallen for his hype. Sooooo...instead of repeating myself [like Obama does endlessly] I'll make this brief!

Looking for anti-Obama or pro-Hillary merchandise?

There is NO WAY that I will vote for this unqualified, media-hyped phony baloney. And you know what? There are LOTS of other Democrats who feel the same way. Some of them are planning on casting "protest votes" (i.e., voting for someone, such as Ralph Nader, or writing in Hillary Clinton, knowing full well that their vote is basically a throw-away), others are planning not to vote at all, and still others--like myself--are planning on voting for McCain. What we all have in common is an absolute refusal to vote for Obama.

Howard Dean and the DNC (Democrat National Committee) need to realize that we're serious about this, and if it costs us [Democrats] the election in November, so be it. ANYTHING would be a better outcome than having Obaminable in the White House. My suggestion to the DNC is that they figure out some way--soon--to make the votes from the Florida and Michigan primaries count, so as not to disenfranchise those states' voters, and that they give due weight to the fact that ALL of the major states (California, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas, etc.) have voted for Clinton in their primaries.

If you'd like to add your voice to those of us who will not, under any circumstances, vote for Obama should he become the Democratic nominee, please head on over to this petition and sign it today. Encourage everyone you know to do the same. Perhaps, with enough input from the public, Dean and the DNC will wake up...before it's too late.

It's like being in school again

After several of the Democratic debates, I was left with a familiar, yet hard to finger, feeling--but today it hit me! Have you noticed how the moderators (and I use the term loosely, since they're all VERY obviously using different standards for Clinton and Obama) are asking Clinton the tough questions FIRST, and then letting Mr "All Hype, No Substance" Obama answer LAST? Why are they doing that? Well, that's what hit me today. By choosing Clinton to respond first, they're letting her do all the hard work--like the smarter girl in class--and then letting Obama basically echo whatever she said--like the not-as-smart boy in class. This is like being back in school...elementary school.

Looking for anti-Obama or pro-Hillary merchandise?

It's remarkable that such blatant sexism can rear its ugly little head in such an important arena as a presidential debate, but it's definitely there. Over and over again. (As I was typing this, Saturday Night Live came on and the opening skit was a parody of the most recent debate--and they nailed it! They nailed exactly what I was thinking, i.e., that Clinton gets the tough questions while Obama gets praised as if he's God for saying the most basic things. Unbelievable.)

At some point before this presidential contest ends, I'd REALLY like to see some equity in the treatment of the candidates by the media. I've never seen anything as outrageous as the disparity in treatment that Clinton and Obama are receiving--and if Clinton even dares point anything out, no matter how accurate her observations may be, she gets blasted for whining. If the shoe was on the other foot, and Obama was being treated EXTREMELY unfairly in the press and had the balls to point it out, he'd probably be praised for standing up for himself. There it is again, the sexist double standard. When a woman stands up for herself she's whining and/or she's a bitch, but when a man does it, he's just doing what he needs to do. This really sucks...

UT Austin paper endorses Clinton--good news for me personally!

My daughter and I have always been on the same page politically, so imagine my shock and horror at finding out that she and her husband have fallen for Mr Barack "All hype, no substance" Obama and his empty rhetoric (that's been copied nearly verbatim from Hillary Clinton).

Looking for anti-Obama merchandise? Shop our anti-Obama and/or pro-Hillary merchandise

I'm not sure if I was more hurt or disappointed at her decision. Hurt, yes, because--although she was brought up with a clear sense of the importance of the feminist movement--she seems to have forgotten, or else she doesn't care, how hard women had to work to get to the point we are today, and supporting a female who is FAR MORE QUALIFIED than her male opponent seems like a natural for someone brought up in a non-sexist household. Disappointed, yes, that too, because Obama is all hype and no substance, and I would expect her to want more from a candidate. But she's made up her mind so we have to agree to disagree politically for the first time in her life.

Well, imagine my delight when I read on HillaryClinton.com last night that the University of Texas at Austin's paper, The Daily Texan, has endorsed Clinton. Why am I so happy? Because this is not just the paper of my daughter and son-in-law's alma mater, but it's the very paper they WORKED ON while students there. :D I hope that doesn't make me a bad mother...

Barack Obama's spokesperson speechless...priceless!

Did you catch Hardball with Chris Matthews the other day? Specifically, the day when Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones of Ohio (a Clinton supporter) and Texas State Sen. Kirk Watson (an Obama supporter) were both on live? It was BRILLIANT! Matthews asked Watson a very simple question: List some of Obama's legislative accomplishments. Now, you'd think that a person enthusiastically supporting Obama not only personally, but as his spokesperson on national TV, would be able to come up with SOMETHING...right? (Assuming, of course, that there's anything to come up with!) So what did Watson do? He tried to change the subject. But Matthews wouldn't let him! Matthews kept after him, asking again and again if he could list some of Obama's legislative accomplishments. Dead fucking silence...

Looking for anti-Barack Obama or pro-Hillary merchandise?

It was beautiful. Absolutely priceless. It showed--better than any anti-Obama blogger could possibly hope to--just how underqualified the man really is for the office of president. If you didn't watch the show, don't despair! Here's a link to a video of the interview. (WARNING: If you're an Obama-ite and, therefore, under the influence of all that hype, you may find yourself squirming before the video is over. And rightly so! You're supporting someone based on...what?)

I feel just like I did in 1972

In 1972, I was too young to vote but I volunteered to work for the McGovern campaign, as I couldn't imagine another Nixon term. I was stunned at the support Nixon had all across the country...absolutely baffled at how so many people could be SO WRONG and SO BLIND. I remember watching in horror as the election results came in and Nixon won a second term by a landslide. It wasn't until August of 1974 when Nixon was forced to resign, as his crooked VP Spiro Agnew already had, that I felt vindicated.
Looking for anti-Obama or pro-Hillary merchandise?

Today I find the same feelings of disbelief as people jump on the Obama bandwagon. I'm stunned that so many people can be so stupid, blind, shortsighted, and fooled by rhetoric [that isn't even his own!]. My only hope now is that some miracle happens and Clinton pulls out the nomination...but if that doesn't occur, I'm voting for McCain.

If you're as shocked as I am at the unwarranted devotion Obama is receiving and you'd like to express your anti-Obama feelings, please take a look at our political merchandise page, which includes a number of anti-Obama designs.

Media bias, sexism, racism...

Apparently, Gov. Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania made the following comment last week while meeting with the editorial board of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette to talk about his latest budget: "You've got conservative whites here, and I think there are some whites who are probably not ready to vote for an African-American candidate." So, what happens as a result? Well, because Rendell is a Clinton supporter, one thing that happened is the media reported it as coming from a "Clinton ally"--which practically implies that Clinton herself said it or that she shares Rendell's feelings. And thanks to the blatant, ridiculous media bias in Obama's favor, naturally this is getting a lot of attention.

But you know what else it did? It made clear to people like myself--who grew up in the heyday of the feminist movement--that sexism is alive and well in the USA. You may not immediately see where I'm going with this, but--trust me!--it makes sense.

Looking for anti-Obama merchandise?

By raising the racism issue in regards to Obama--or, as I prefer to call him, ODrama--his bandwagoneers will undoubtedly get riled up and come out in droves in Pennsylvania to support him, and there will equally undoubtedly be an uproar among black leaders, in black churches, black communities, etc. But what if Rendell, or some other public figure, changed the wording just slightly? What if someone said this: "You've got conservative males here, and I think there are some males--and females--who are probably not ready to vote for a female candidate."? Would there be an equal uproar? I doubt it.

As someone on a pro-Hillary site I frequent said, "Sexism is the last acceptable prejudice..." If a woman ran for president with the identical record [and I'm using that term loosely!] Obama has, and ran against a man with Clinton's qualifications, said woman wouldn't stand a CHANCE of being nominated. There would be no unwarranted mania surrounding her--as there is with Obama. In fact, she would most likely be laughed out of the race! Can you imagine a FEMALE one-term senator, wholly lacking any other experience that made her qualified to be president, having the audacity to run? I can only imagine the hysterical laughter that would ensue from bigots and conservatives, such as Rush Limbaugh, at the very idea.

Why, then, is Obama being treated like God's gift to humanity? The man has done NOTHING to warrant the cult-like devotion we're now seeing across the country, and if a woman with his same record dared to run for president, it'd be all over but the laughing long before the election.

If, heaven forbid, ODrama actually wins the general election, be prepared for 4 more years of mayhem and economic woes. Once he's confronted with the realities of trying to clean up after 8 Bush years, and he finds out that merely saying "present"--or, better yet!, pressing the WRONG BUTTON, just won't cut it, what are we supposed to do?
